This was my girlfriend and my first time buying a home, and Ryan made the experience as painless as possible. From our first contact Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, and I could tell that he had our best interests in mind. Ryan guided us through each step of the process, and sure that we understood each of the steps as we progressed forward. Ryan's patience was prevalent throughout the process. He never rushed us into making any decisions, which was greatly appreciated. Ryan also never pushed us into looking at homes that were out of our budget, or homes that weren't right for us just to make a quick sale. He made sure that we were comfortable/informed with our decisions before moving forward. While we did not have to do a ton of negotiation for our sale; Ryan made sure to explain the pros and cons of the typical negotiation points so that we would be able to make the right decisions if more negotiations were needed. Ultimately I could not have asked for a better agent; especially when buying my first house. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone buying a home. Ryan's professionalism, personality, and knowledge made him a great person to work with from start to finish. ... Read More

My fiancé and I were connected with Ryan based on a referral from family whom he worked with previously. Our initial and all subsequent interactions with Ryan were pleasant and very professional. We found him to be very knowledgeable regarding the area, home buying process and his background in home was appreciated. Our situation was somewhat unique considering my fiancé and I currently are in separate states thus making the searching process more cumbersome. Ryan was great at responding to questions and helping to incorporate us both when we would look at houses while getting creative at times utilizing FaceTime when needed. He went above and beyond, to show us houses during times that worked with our schedules. Going back and looking at the initial need and want list we provided to Ryan, I was able to check off almost every item on both lists. He found us the perfect house and was there with us every step of the way. I had the pleasure of working with Ryan to purchase my first home in the spring of 2016. As a first time buyer, I was unsure and a little scared of the process, but after meeting Ryan, he made me comfortable every step of the way and made sure I each part of the process. With his expertise in Oakland and Macomb counties, Ryan suggested areas that I had not originally considered, which ended up being where I bought my home and I absolutely love it! He made the process of house hunting very fun and I was sort of sad when I actually found a home because that meant the fun house hunting was over. One of the best parts of working with Ryan was that he took the time to truly get to know me and what I was looking for at the very beginning of the process and used every home we looked at to refine his understanding of me and what kind of home would be a good fit. He had the ability to look at every home with what I called the "Katie lens" based on everything he had learned about me and was able to truly help me see things I would not have seen on my own. Additionally, with his expertise as an appraiser, Ryan was able to understand the true value of a home and point out benefits or concerns that I did not know to look for. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Ryan for any home search in Oakland or Macomb county. ... Read More
