Katie Moore

Katie Moore is a Michigan based interior designer and real estate associate with a passion for curating spaces her Clients love to be in. A Michigan State University alum, Katie earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Interior Design and Marketing in 2010

After graduating, Katie relocated to the Washington DC area (DMV) where she spent much of her career with a focus in corporate interiors, office design, multi-family, hospitality, and luxury residential interiors. Katie also successfully passed her professional interior design certification examination, NCIDQ, in 2012, which she continues to hold today.

In 2018, Katie and her husband relocated back to their Michigan roots to raise their three boys and enjoy a slower pace of living. Over the past few years, as their boys grew older, Katie transitioned back into the field of design, founding the full service design studio, The Builtmoore Co. Interiors.

In 2024, Katie received her real estate license to help her have an even greater impact with Clients.

Today, Katie resides in Shelby Township, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit with her husband and three boys. When she’s not designing or helping Clients with real estate, you will find her homeschooling her boys, baking homemade sourdough bread, or at the hockey rink cheering on her crew.
